Selector - Criteria - Data Group - dialog

Contains selection controls that allow the creation of a selection set by data group properties. Only the elements that meet the selection set criteria will be included in the selection set.

OpenBuildings Station Designer components use the data group system extensively. The select by datagroup criteria is the most efficient method to finely filter selection sets over a large range of available properties. Use the respective discipline criteria (Structural or Mechanical) to select based on basic characteristics like element type, shape or justification.

This criteria selects a Seel Columns from catalog Wind Column and Fire rating property 30 minutes

Setting	Description
Name	Select the name of the data group to use in the selection criteria. By default, this field is set to All. Click in the column to see the drop-down list.
Catalog	Select the name of the Catalog for the data group. By default, this field is set to Any. Click in the column to see the drop-down list.
Property	Select the property of the data group. If no Name or Catalog is selected, this field remains blank.
Operator	Select the mathematical operator to apply when creating the selection set. By default, this field is set to Equal To.
Value	Select the expression upon which the operator will perform. The expression represents the actual value of the DataGroup property, and must be keyed in manually or selected from a drop list if available. For some properties such as Part Definition or Section Name, the Value provides selection box where the Value information can be picked. Part Definition – Clicking the value column opens a part selection box. Section Name – Clicking the value column opens a section selection box.

Add	Adds a new criteria argument ready for manipulation.
